So does anyone know what the trip to Ecruteak is like? If you're going from Goldenrod.

There was a whole lot of dancing at that party a while back and it was kinda fun. So I thought when I got back, I'd try looking into it and learning a little. And then I heard there's a group of dancers in Ecruteak! So I was like, great!

But I've been looking at maps and stuff and it takes like, a week to get there. And I've never traveled that far. I only got to Goldenrod when all that crazy stuff happened just after I got here and I don't even remember how I got here.

So, like... how do I prep? It's not a hard trek or anything, is it? Have any of you guys had any trouble?

I haven't gone that way, yet. It doesn't sound any harder then the trip I had to take to get from Violet to Azalea, though.

[That was something she did not want to do again.]

I just recently took the same trip you are planning to take, and it wasn't that bad at all. A bit cold for traveling, of course...so you may want to make sure the weather will hold when you go.

But I also traveled with others, so that helped, too.

It isn't so bad. The trip might seem a little daunting if you're not used to it but it really isn't too difficult. Do you have any pokemon you can use for riding?

It's not too bad! The weather right now aside, the routes are pretty easy to get across. You just want to make sure you have proper camping equipment.

It wouldn't hurt to ask, I think!

You should get a pokemon that can Fly. It's a huge help

I've been there before a couple of times! I haven't gone in a while, not since before Elsa got here a couple of months ago? But it's pretty much a straight shot up, to the right, and up again!

The best part about it is you get to go through National Park. Have you ever been there, Labrys? It's really beautiful!

It's not so bad. It's just cold. Flying helps, but if you don't have that option... it's okay. Just take as much time as you need. Maybe take a fire type with you, too.

If you have a Ponyta or a Blitzle, that should be a pokemon you can use to ride.

It might be a long trip but your pokemon might enjoy it. Though you should probably bring something warm. It's been cold lately.

Once they know the move Fly it doesn't matter. Like, I use my Smeagle to get around and they don't even have wings. Though it's pretty awkward looking.

Though assuming you're a trainer you might not be able to use the HM anyways.

They actually use their tails like helicopter blades. It's really weird to watch. But Smeargle can learn any move so they're the exception not the rule.

But hey, as a breeder you don't have to beat the gyms- just find someone with the hm you can borrow and a flying pokemon and you're golden.

I don't have the hm, I just Sketched the move. But... you said you're in Goldenrod, right? If you really don't wanna walk it I guess I can give you a ride. It's really too cold for traveling safely.
