[ it's pretty clear that whoever's putting out this video has little to no idea of what they're doing - not only is it being shot upside down, but it's framed pretty badly, with only one red eye and a few locks of blue hair visible against the familiar backdrop of New Bark Town.

Though it's hard to make out her expression, her one visible eye is a little narrowed and when she starts talking, her voice is understandably nervous. ]

Uh... H--hey... Is this some kinda messed up prank? Mitsuru-san, Akihiko-san, Aigis - or whoever's watchin' this - w--well, it ain't funny, yeah?! I dunno where I am! I ain't never heard of New Bark Town an' I never heard a' no Pokémon either!

And-- an' all this--!

[ she jerks the camera down to point it at her body, revealing the slight build of a high school girl, still dressed in her summer uniform. ]

I don't even wanna know how you did it but-- but just quit it, alright?! [ her voice wavers a little and she sounds almost like she's close to tears. ] Just stop it! It ain't funny at all!

[ there's a little bleat from off camera and then an exceptionally fluffy Mareep wanders into the shot at the girl's feet. She sniffs a little and when she speaks up again, her voice is a little calmer and gentler. ]

Oh -- s'you again. What are you, anyway? Some kinda--?

[ and that's when either her finger slips or something and the video abruptly cuts off. ]

[ it's equal parts reassuring and ominous to hear that she's not the only one who's been plopped down in this weird place - but with any luck, if she's here, the others might be too. ]

No one can really say for sure, honestly! I mean, people seem to just kinda come and go without much warning, from my understanding of it. Not that it's exactly a bad thing or anything!

But I've been here for almost seven months or so now? So I kinda know my way around a bit! You can ask me anything you want, I'll try to answer everything as best I can!

Ya-- ya gotta be kiddin' me. Right? S'just a joke, right?

Hey now, it's okay! There are a lot worse places to be stuck for seven months, believe me. It's actually pretty nice...I mean, yeah, it's definitely a lot different from what I'm used to, and there's still a ton of stuff I haven't seen yet, and every now and again some pretty weird stuff goes on, but I mean, it's a lot of fun here!

And it's not like people don't go back home or anything. I miss my kingdom a lot, yeah, but knowing that when I get home it'll be just the same as it was when I left it helps. Plus, my sister's here, and I love being able to go on adventures with her...who knows, maybe your friends are here, too! And if they're not, well, there's always a chance that they could show up like my sister did!

[ the mention of sisters, and the possibility of friends being here makes something in Labrys' chest jump and she's not quite sure of why. It's not... an unpleasant feeling and her heart seems to have settled back into a more acceptable rhythm once she takes a breath. ]

So I really ain't missing anythin'? Nobody's gonna be worryin' about where I went, nothin' big's gonna happen while I'm stuck here?

From what I've heard, even if they're not here, when you eventually come back, it'll be like you never even left! Which is basically why Elsa and I are taking it so well; I mean, if that wasn't the case, Arendelle would have a little bit of a crisis! But thanks to some kind of weird timeline mumbo-jumbo, it's kind of like, y'know, a month here is like a millisecond wherever you're from? Something along those lines!

... so you'd have ta be here for... I dunno, years for anyone ta ever notice there was somethin' wrong?

[ which is both reassuring and worrying because now she's actually put it into words, what if she does end up being stuck here for years ]

Pretty lucky, though. I mean, that yer sis turned up too.

Maybe even longer than that. No one really knows the specifics, other than that people have gone back home and then came back here and things were exactly the same as they left them.

But, yeah, I was lucky. My sister came about three months ago or so, and I missed her terribly...but hey, you could be lucky, too, and someone you know could pop up! You never know, right?

[ she trails off in thought for a second and only realises then that just going silent in the middle of a conversion is probably kind of rude so she scrabbles for something to say. ]

[ she furrows her brow, looking a little worried. ]

Well, why wouldn't I? You seem like a lovely person! You haven't given me a reason to think that you're not, anyway. I'm more than happy to be friends with you!

[And she definitely does look pretty sincere as she says this! Anna's just that type of girl that'll consider everyone she talks to and believes to be a good person one of her friends.]

[ oh nO WHY IS THIS GIRL SO NICE SHE'S GETTING ALL FLUSTERED ALL OVER AGAIN ]

Oh-- uh-- well I'm uh-- y--yeah, that's... Fine with me...

[ nailed... It...? ]

Then it's settled! And like I said, if there's anything you need, you can totally count on me!

[Anna looks super proud of herself, on top of being happy to make a new friend! She's more than confident that Labrys is gonna enjoy her time here; after all, the first couple of days are always the biggest hurdle.]

You got a really good partner there with Mareep, too. It's an Electric-type, so it shouldn't have much trouble with most of the Pokemon you'll find when you first start out! It's really good against Flying-types and Water-types. And eventually it'll grow big and strong and evolve twice!

[She takes a Poke Ball out from her bag, and out comes Maa-aa-ary, her big, cuddly Ampharos! It seems just as friendly as her trainer does, contentedly waving at Labrys with its stubby paw..]

This is Maa-aa-aary! After your Mareep grows enough, it changes into a Flaafy, and then an Ampharos like Mary here. Most Pokemon evolve like that, actually! Some changes are a lot bigger than others...

[ her undeniably awkward expression gives way for a bit of a smile and she glances down and away from the camera, at the Mareep still prancing around at her feet. ]

Into that?

[ she makes a bit of a face, looking more puzzled than anything. ]

Don't really look much like a sheep... I don't think?

[ she squints, and tilts her head

nah still can't see it ]

Flaaffy looks a little bit more like Mareep, only it's pink and it stands upright! And Ampharos don't really look very much like lambs anymore, but they pack a real punch and give off lots of light! I think some people use theirs as beacons in lighthouses because they're so bright...
