[ so it looks like someone is deciding to have a lazy morning, because when the feed clicks on, Labrys is sat up in bed, right in the middle of a giant Pokemon cuddle pile. she's got a book in her hands and going by the title, it looks like some kind of tourist guide. She shuts it once she realizes the feed is on and gives a little huff of a sigh. ]

Hey guys -- or, I guess, anyone who's been ta Ecruteak or whoever's still there -- either one.

I was just wonderin', apart from the Kimono Girls and the towers, what kinda things are there for like, sight-seein' and stuff? I wanna make sure I don't miss anythin' when I go and visit. And uh...

[ she gives a slightly nervous smile. ]

An' I was thinkin' about maybe travellin' to other places too, t'see what they're like. So if anyone knows anywhere in Johto that's good ta visit... oh, an' I'm in Goldenrod right now, if that helps.

Elsa and I are here now, actually! Unfortunately, I don't think they really let you into the Bell Tower. I mean, yeah, you can see it perfectly from the Bellchime Trail, and that's a really lovely walk on a nice day. But they don't really let you in to climb it, since it's such a sacred place and all.

The Burned Tower is really solemn to visit, though. But there's a nice big hole in the middle of the ground that leads to the basement, and you can see some really huge footprints down there! They must be from the three Pokemon that Ho-Oh brought back from the fire, it's so cool! And of course, the kimono girls are all really nice! I was actually thinking about getting Elsa a really nice kimono! We don't really have them back in Arendelle, and I think she'd look great in one! So I'm kind of looking for a place where I can get one now, I'll let you know if I end up finding one!

...Oh, and of course, there's the Gym! And gosh, it's a crazy one! The way the puzzle works is so cool! But the Leader wasn't so tough, if you can deal with Ghost types!

I was thinking for Elsa maybe I'd get her something that had cherry blossoms..? Since it's getting into spring and all! Maybe crocuses, too, since those are Arendelle's royal crest...

Well, right when you walk in, the whole entire place is just plain dark. Like, there's a wooden floor to start on, but the rest of it is this super huge black abyss, so you can't really see where you're going! But there are a whole bunch of trainers in different spots on the floor, and you have to kinda go by where they're standing to navigate through it! The path is a little narrow, though, and if you fall off, you get sent right back to the start.

No, no, no, it's totally safe! If you fall off the path, you just get sent right back to the start no problem! There's, like, invisible ghost Pokemon that take you back to the entrance of the gym if you fall off, so it's not like you're gonna hit the ground or anything! You just feel the thrill of falling!

You don't actually have to fight Morty, though he's not so bad if you do. You can kind of just walk in and try out the puzzle for yourself if you really want to! Trust me, it's fun! All of the gyms kind of have a gimmick of sorts, but that one's something special!

Good morning, Labrys-san. I just got back from Ecruteak a few weeks ago...it was a very nice place. I think you will certainly like visiting the Kimono Dance theatre while you are there, but if you get the chance I would recommend the museum as well. The exhibits there are very interesting.

There is a gym in Ecruteak as well, if you think you might be interested in challenging it. The leader uses primarily ghost types.

Well, the first thing I can say is that you absolutely don't want to spend your whole time here in Goldenrod. I understand the charm it has, but... really, it's worth at least making your way north and spending the rest of your time in Ecruteak, as it's vastly superior. Honestly, even passing through is an experience... although, well, the theater is a good bet for most people. The museum's very nice as well, and you can generally come back after some time has passed and find a new exhibit.

The towers are also worth looking at, though I'm afraid that's all you may be doing for the Bell Tower, as it's off limits to the public for... whatever reason. I've been in it and I presume it was more exciting than it usually is because parts of it were on fire.
enjoymyatelier: but what would that even do. (gradients of babylon...?)

Mn, when you have seen cities like it, it's really not anything special. I tend to like places with a lot of history, and Ecruteak certainly has that.

...and ah... I think one of our local lunatics has something against the city, really, because they planted bombs all over it like some sort of pseudo-lethal scavenger hunt.

I'm honestly not entirely sure... the museum and my lawn certainly didn't make it out unscathed, but I don't remember hearing about any actual casualties.

Then again, nobody here dies when they're killed, so it could be that those were the only meaningful ones.

Ah... well, I've never been in it when it wasn't on fire because the monks keep out everyone who isn't "worthy," but the view from the top was very nice. It looked like it had very nice wood work inside, but it was fairly empty aside from some very odd construction decisions.

Did you ever go through Viridian Forest? I think I'd like to go through there again sometime... It's unlike anywhere back home, or even like some places here.

I think if I were properly prepared... It'd be lovely to spend some time there.

A lot like Ilex Forest, I found, but I don't think that's a bad thing. It's like a maze, full of Grass and Bug types.

The mornings there are really serene, I think.

Hey, once you've explored all of one place, why not try the next when it's just a boat ride away?

I have a friend who did a lot of traveling there. Apparently Mt. Moon is really something special.
